Message from the founder

Every single product or service that you see in the market has two important individuals behind it; an innovator, who developed a better way to do something, and an entrepreneur who bet funds and resources to build a profitable venture. But we do not think about them in our lives. They never get much recognition, though it is the innovators and entrepreneurs who build the economy of the nation.

Eight years back we thought about changing it, in our own small way. We started TechTop competition to celebrate young innovators in the country. What began as a small event in 2006 has grown to be a national level competition attended by contestants from small, big, urban and rural engineering colleges. We have given away about Rs.15 lakhs over this time as prize money.

This year it is bigger. We are inviting innovators from outside engineering colleges. They can be from schools or farms, young or old. They just need to show that they have the innovative spirits in them.

I invite innovators from all over the country to apply for TechTop ’13. This year we will also help you take the next step in your life. To become an entrepreneur.
